Abstract
Por lo anterior en este trabajo vamos a referirnos brevemente a obras románticas, en nuestra búsqueda respecto a la imagen femenina a través de la narrativa de la pasada centuria; aunque aludiremos también la novela modernista “Por dónde se sube al cielo” de Manuel Gutiérrez Nájera, recientemente descubierta por la doctora Belém Clark, al relato costumbrista “Historia de Chuco del Ninfo”, de José T. Cuéllar y a la historia de corte realista-naturalista “Santa”, de Federico Gamboa; hay que apuntar, sin embargo, que en todas ellas persisiten algunos elementos románticos, que no es el objetivo de este ensayo analizar.Downloads
