Drawing on the ideas of Bolívar Echeverría and María Zambrano, it argues that art, understood as a Poetic logos, reconfigures meanings and reclaims its emancipatory and critical potential within the social construction of discourse.
Gustavo García Conde Copyright (c) 2025 https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 https://fuenteshumanisticas.azc.uam.mx/index.php/rfh/article/view/1195 Mon, 05 May 2025 00:00:00 -0600 Maps of Thought in Literary Cartographies: A Dialogical Relationship Between Text and Its Context https://fuenteshumanisticas.azc.uam.mx/index.php/rfh/article/view/1209
This text ponders on the relationship between the intellectual training of the authors and the impact it has on their work; highlighting that literary Works are written not only to reflect the historical, social and intellectual influences of the time in which they were created, but also the academic training that their authors had.

The article seeks to make literature visible as a cross-border space that connects various disciplines of knowledge, overcoming the barriers between them to offer a comprehensive understanding of reality. The literary work is presented as a legacy that documents not only facts and events, but also the authors' processes of interpretation and understanding of their world.
Diana Erika Cruz Jiménez Copyright (c) 2025 https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 https://fuenteshumanisticas.azc.uam.mx/index.php/rfh/article/view/1209 Fri, 20 Jun 2025 00:00:00 -0600 Latin American cities: narration and description https://fuenteshumanisticas.azc.uam.mx/index.php/rfh/article/view/1202
The history of Latin American cities and its transformations could be written from the scientific and artistic representations. Narration and description are combined in travelers' stories, cartographies, chronicles and dialogues between different disciplines that try to explain the complex reality of Latin America. The models of the city and the American utopias continue to be rewritten from literature. The following is an attempt to recover the traditional discursive genres of description of Latin American cities and the current perspectives of study.
Carmen Fernández Galán Montemayor Copyright (c) 2025 https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 https://fuenteshumanisticas.azc.uam.mx/index.php/rfh/article/view/1202 Tue, 05 Aug 2025 00:00:00 -0600 River, Myth, and Poetics in Chiapas https://fuenteshumanisticas.azc.uam.mx/index.php/rfh/article/view/1210
This article explores the river as a motif in creative writing. It examines how the current legal framework, conservative religious interpretations, and strong social pressures contribute to the persistent marginalization of this community. These restrictive dynamics significantly limit access to essential opportunities in areas such as family life, education, employment, and the healthcare system. Furthermore, the crucial role of Tunisian organizations like Shams will be highlighted, as they tirelessly work in the defense of human rights and the promotion of equality. These organizations not only provide direct support to those affected but also play a fundamental role in raising social awareness and advocating for legal reforms aimed at ensuring greater inclusion and protection of the rights of the LGBTIQ+ community in Tunisia.
Wiem Messaoudi Copyright (c) 2025 https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 https://fuenteshumanisticas.azc.uam.mx/index.php/rfh/article/view/1183 Mon, 05 May 2025 00:00:00 -0600 Galería de títeres de Pita Amor: la sociedad mexicana en los años 50 https://fuenteshumanisticas.azc.uam.mx/index.php/rfh/article/view/1213 Cecilia Colón Hernández Copyright (c) 2025 https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 https://fuenteshumanisticas.azc.uam.mx/index.php/rfh/article/view/1213 Tue, 05 Aug 2025 00:00:00 -0600 The Present belongs to them.
