The city as a real space-abstract and the possibilities of its redefinition
Abstract
Walking along the old streets of the northeastern part of Mexico City’s Historic Center allows us to realize that these surroundings can be given an entire new meaning–regardless of what their original significance may hace been. This essay explores the notion that his abstraction is a direct consequence f the traveler’s personal nterpretations molded by the impressions ade on him (or her) y the city’s streets, plazas and buildings.Downloads
