Abstract

This article is based on narratives put together by 6 , ) and 12 year olds. Through these, the article seeks to analyze the relation ship between thed evelopment of the theory of the mind during the late stages of language-learning, and the creation of narratives themselves. It offers proof that the linguistic and cognitive development during these stages not only gives childrenincreased ability to generate cohesive  and coherent speech, but also allows them to construct and transform narratives.
