La serpiente emplumada : una mirada a las aguas profundas de México
Abstract
La historia de México ha estado mirada por innumerables viajeros. La mirada externa es parte de la cultura mexicana, y es el caso del escritor inglés David Helbert Lawrence, que con su obra La serpiente emplumada, (1926) ha dejado un testimonio vivo sobre el encuentro de culturas del México posrevolucionario. En ella describe y explica la historia nacional como una constante fuerza social que da sentido al presente pero siempre teniendo una relación estrecha con el pasado. Fusión de tiempos y culturas, La serpiente emplumada, simboliza el imperecedero legado de ese México profundo que sigue latiendo en el corazón de los mexicanos.Downloads
