Abstract

This article studies the poetry of Antonio Gamoneda, specifically the  profound relationships it establishes with the myth of Narcissus, Otherness, death, the reader and hope. The analysis, based on the indetification of these relationships attempts to produce an image ofthe subject and of the dominant language in the writing of one the most important contemporary Spanish poets.
