En algunas crónicas que José Tomás de Cuéllar escribió en 1870 para "La ilustración Potosina" toma el pulso de la vida provinciana en las fiestas cívicas señalando su preeminencia sobre las fiestas religiosas. Cuéllar analiza su rotura con el pasado que apunta la fragilidad de su presente.Downloads
