Art and art museums in the United States. A historiographic review
Abstract
In this historiographic review, the aim is tracing the process of construction and consolidation of artistic projects, as well as art museums at United State’s 19th century. Throughout the writing, two moments of the American artistic and cultural process will be described: first, the nationalist and civilizing stage; and, second, the open and cosmopolitan stage.Downloads
