Urban modernization and conflict over space in Mexico City: the annihilation of the Neighborhood-Communitary landscape in the town of Xoco
Abstract
In the town of Xoco there is a conflict over the urban space, which is evident in the transformation the landscape has suffered that overcomes the aesthetic sense and is reflected in the relationships, meanings and practices of space. In order to understand and explain this conflict, a qualitative methodology was used in which interviews, observation and analysis of institutional programs were essential.Downloads
