The Oneiric Visions in Agustin Yañez´s Stories: the Return to Childhood
Abstract
Agustin Yañez's stories are gathered in four books called Flor de Fuegos Antiguos (1941). Some episodes were published in Bandera de Provincias a magazine founded by Yañez himself, Archipiélago de Mujeres (1947); Los Sentidos del Aire (1964) and La Ladera Dorada (1978). The first three belong to the section known as "Las edades y los afectos" (ages and affections). In this paper, I will try to analyze some of the oneiric episodes that appear in the first three books of stories as well as the relationships between them and the childhood theme.Downloads
