General Panorama of the “Fidencista” Festival of Espinazo, Nuevo León
Abstract
For the comunity of Espinazo, Nuevo Leon, the figure of El Niño Fidencio and the events given around all his image have meant the foundation of their worldview that between myth and reality, remains almost untouched since the arrival of the Niño Santo in 1921, to the present. Below I present a description of the origins of the Fidencista movement and designation of spaces where the constant festival is held, in which the main manifestation is in the representational role plays that have been added over the years and in which the role of the spectator / actor is mixed , to witness and become partakers of the work of Fidencio.Downloads
