Argentina Is Stained by Red: the Ponceau Red as an Aesthetic and Political Atmosphere in the Epoch of “Rosismo”
Abstract
Argentine in early 19th Century lived a period marked because of authoritarianism, and also red “ponceau;” that’s concern Juan Manuel de Rosas government. During his mandate, red was an atmosphere that wrapped society in a hostile and violent ambience, doesn’t matter their political faction. This research is a preliminary analysis about red like political an aesthetic atmosphere.Downloads
