Abstract

This article presents a historical overviewabout indigenous literature,since Prehispanic Mexico to ourdays. Indigenous literature is a defensivecultural weapon. It is a place to reflect and think about the situation of indigenous women.Indigenous women writers have raisedtheir voice and now, perhaps for the firts time, we can hear them.
