Los bucoliastas
Abstract
En este ensayo, presento en español Los bucolistas o cantones bucólicos de Teócrito. El lector no espere encontrar una traducción ad litteram, ya que al trasladar un poema de una lengua a otra, a veces pierde en imágenes, en sonidos o en cadencia rítmica. También poco en verso libre, ni en el ritmo del texto original – el hexámetro bucólico-, debido a que el verso resulta monótono, inexpresivo y carente de vida. De allí que mi traducción esté hecha en heptadecasílabos compuestos: diecisiete sílabas por verso- como en el hexámetro-, con dos cesuras obligatorias- evitando sinalefa entre cada colon-, una después del heptasílabo y otra después del primer pentasílabo.Downloads
