Margarita Mendoza López and Gilberto Owen in the theater art
Abstract
This paper highlights some facts from a newspaper story about the great poet Gilberto Owen written by playwright Margarita Mendoza López in 1954 and puts them into context according to the last letter written by Owen. It also gathers information about Owen’s work in the Ulises Theater in 1928 and assesses the importance of Margarita Mendoza as a historian of Mexican theater art.Downloads
