El monumento a la revolución en el cine : algunos momentos significativos en la construcción y resistencia a una imagen fílmica del Estado Mexicano
Abstract
Se revisa la manera en que la industria cinematográfica vio al Monumento a la Revolución, convirtiendo su imagen en un emblema, unas veces consciente y otras inconsciente, de su resistencia a los gobiernos de la época. Más que presentar un recuento detallado de todas las veces que apareció el edificio en alguna película, la intención es abrir una discusión sobre la manera en la que se construye un imaginario social, entendido como una "idea-imagen" que incide en la manera en que una sociedad se representa a sí misma y la manera en que los medios masivos de comunicación contribuyeron en la creación de la cultura visual del siglo XX.Downloads
