El contexto social de la lectura en una escuela Wixárika
Abstract
En este artículo se discuten las respuestas de jóvenes huicholes (wixaritari en su propia lengua) con relación al contexto escolar, para describir el lugar que ocupa la escuela, los profesores y la educación política. Se argumenta que el contexto escolar, como parte del entorno en que viven, determina en gran medida el interés por el aprendizaje en general y de la lecto-escritura en particular. El presente artículo se basa en la evaluación escolar que se realizó en el Centro Educativo Tatutsi Maxakwaxi (TMK) en el 2004 y 2005. En este espaico no se exponen los resultados completos de la evaluación, ya que aquí el propósito es ofrecer únicamente los datos que nos acercan al concepto de escuela que tienen los jovenes wixaritari de una secundaria intercultural bilingüe y discutirlos en función de su formación lectora.Downloads
