El sentido apostólico de la identidad docente de Gabriela Mistral
Abstract
El artículo que viene a continuación, pasando de lado por datos, referencias y juicios propios de la historia literaria, se ha escrito con el propósito de entender “esta afinación de los sentimientos” que ocurre gracias a “la cuerda templada” del alma de ciertos seres excepcionales gracias a la experiencia profunda de la literatura. A quien prefiera ignorar este asunto, se le ofrece también una exposición de la naturaleza emotiva que caracterizó el trato amistoso mantenido durante varios años entre Gabriela Mistral y Alfonso Reyes. En el territorio de esas emociones se destaca la matriz simbólica de índole cristiana gracias a la cual Gabriela Mistral se construyó a sí misma en su obra como una maestra.
