River, Myth, and Poetics in Chiapas
Abstract
This article explores the river as a motif in creative writing. It focuses on the poetic use of water's flow, examining: first, its role in the Chiapas poetic tradition, and second, its function as a discursive image representing concepts beyond the river itself. In both instances, however, mythological significance remains integral to everyday life.Downloads
