Abstract
his article discusses the arguments given at the Fourth Mexican Provincial Council Debate in order to prohibit the iconography of the Virgen de la Luz. It focuses on the resolutions hat were passed to adjust certain iconographic representations to the catholic doctrine. It concludes with the most visible consequences of the debate as shown in some of the representations of the image.Downloads
