Malinche and Queen Abla Pokou: Two Creative Mythologies
Abstract
In the process of building cultural identity, mythology play an important role. This is the case of Malinche in Mexico and Queen Abla Pokou in Ivory Coast, two historical figures that are presented as instruments of analysis and understanding of their people. To highlight its founding role, the mode of creation of the two societies is investigated, bringing to light the similarities, their meanings and teachings.Downloads
