Proceso inquisitorial contra María Ortega por supersticiones : México 1589
Abstract
Caso representativo, en el ramo inquisición, del Archivo General de la Nación. Fue uno de los casos en los que, la acusada no resultó castigada duramente, sino condenada a salir en un pequeño auto de fe, con el sanbenito puesto y con la vela de expiación en las manos, oír misa y abjurar públicamente de sus pecados. Este caso nos permite acercarnos a la vida cotidiana de quienes vivieron en aquel momento de la época colonial cuando el Estado-Iglesia de Felipe II ya se habías consolidado.Downloads
