Vagos y mendigos : las visiones de juristas y filántropos en el último tercio del siglo XIX en la ciudad de México
Abstract
Este artículo pretende ver a través de las ideas de filántropos y juristas cómo eran percibidos estos tipos marginales y por qué eran considerados un problema latente para la sociedad, qué planes había para ellos y cuáles eran las soluciones que se planteaban para atenuar la pobreza y disminuir la criminalidad. A través del pensamiento de dos sectores ilustrados de la sociedad porfiriato, la investigación se desarrollará en el marco ideológico y filosófico del momento y tratará de identificar una serie de nociones como: pobreza, caridad, progreso, justicia social, etc. -Downloads
