Abstract

The memoir is a literary style that is seldom used by Spanish language writers; nevertheless, six Spanish- Mexican poets, all children of members of the Spanish Republican Exile group that settled in Mexico, wrote a series of memoirs as part of their legacy. How do they address their remembrances from a literary perspective? What for? This is what this paper is about.
