Abstract

The article offers a reflection on the history, time and language in Octavio Paz’s poem “Piedra de sol”. It presents the hypothesis that the poem is written in spiral form, its theme is love, and it forges meanings through its fluidity while it also generates re-interpretations with its implicit text.
